Belfry Training has invested in the development of a powerful, fully customisable ePortfolio tool for the use of all our clients. This 'mahara' based open source technology means that all our candidates have dedicated, secure online space in which they can create, upload,edit and display: files, folders,links, photographs, videos presentations and audio podcasts. In fact pretty much anything that can be used online, can be stored or accessed through the Belfry ePortfolio.
Pages can then be edited by the user and made available to whoever needs to see it : One person: as in sharing with a coach. A small group: peers, fellow learners, verifiers employer etc. The whole world: as in this page which has a URL which can be published like any other website, ideal for distributing your CV (which our portfolio will help you construct), publish your blog, or raise awareness of something using a combination of multimedia and links as used here.
The eportfolio is ultimately the property of the user and can be saved and used elsewhere when needed. Absolutely Brilliant for CPD!
